BASIC PAPERMAKING IN THE GARDEN, Jennifer Galvin

An introduction to making handmade paper. You will learn the basic skills of how to make handmade paper from recycled materials. You will make paper using a mold and deckle and dry paper by the restraint method. We’ll make paper pulp in blenders and pull several sheets. We’ll also experiment a little bit with pulp painting and flower inclusions in our papers! If we have time, I will explain the basics of making paper from plants and we’ll make some plant paper. Everyone will go home with several sheets of paper that they have made themselves! All supplies Included.
