Plein Aire Painting, Focal Point, with Karen Julhin

Karen Julihn is an award winning artist who has studied painting through VCU, at Art of the Carolinas and currently exhibits her work at Brush Strokes Gallery and FCCA.
ART WITH KAREN Plein Aire Painting*, Focal Point: June 19, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. [DATE CHANGE] Instruction (1.5 hr.) will focus on techniques for creating a central focal point and review of techniques. Painting outdoors TBD, in the Garden at FCCA. Students will bring their own supplies and work on their own compositions in any media they prefer. Critique will follow. Adults. Cost: $60:00 Members/$70 Non-members. Lunch, drinks and snack included.

*Plein Aire Classes will meet at FCCA for a brief lesson and then move outdoors. Students may pick their own locations in the garden or along the river. In the event of rain, students may opt to work indoors and are encouraged to bring source photos for ideas.
