Juror: Matt Lively

Matt Lively of Richmond, Virginia, has exhibited nationally and internationally in numerous juried and group exhibitions, and more than 35 solo shows since graduating with a BFA in sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993. When not working in a 130 year old barn studio in rural Virginia he is teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, speaking at schools, Board President of 1708 Gallery and exhibitions co-chair, contributing founder member and director of Ink Tank Lab, book illustrator, art director of short films, creator of a daily drawing challenge at Squigglethis.com and currently exhibiting in “Habitat” at the Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art’s Satellite Gallery at Towne Pavilion II in Virginia Beach. Matt Lively received the Teresa Pollok Award for Excellence in the Arts in 2012. His work is in collections in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and China.
