Linda Agar-Hendrix

Linda Agar-Hendrix, originally from the Berkshires in New England, lived and worked in France before moving to Maryland over 30 years ago. Travel has provided her visual images which have translated into sculpture and photography.
Her work centers on form, texture and three dimensional expression. Abstract photographs of ocean waves and the waters of regional lakes complement her sculptures, presenting reflected seasonal patterns. Travel photographs frequently focus on snapshots of urban patterns as well as those in rock formations and ocean waters. After visiting Iceland and Antartica she had additional opportunities to add to her water and ice photographs.
She has exhibited at various galleries in France, New England, Baltimore and New York in addition to participating in regional juried shows. Her work is in private collections in France and the US.
