Laura is currently a Professional Photographer who lives and works in Fredericksburg, VA and the surrounding areas. Laura graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Drexel University. While at Drexel U, Laura also studied black and white film photography, color photography, history of photography & art classes as well as design classes, calligraphy, and other art-based classes. Through the years some of Laura’s photography jobs have included (but not limited to) a Creative Memories Business and working as a photographer for Lifetouch National Schools Studios. In both companies, Laura instructed individuals in many different outside environments and classroom settings not only on how to properly use a camera and camera accessories, but also instructed individuals on ways to store, present, archive, properly produce photos and images as well. Laura now owns her own photography business called Laura Smiles Photography LLC. Laura is also a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America). Laura continues to study and train through PPA certified programs to stay above the photography industry standards to offer her clients the very best service and products available, while she also continues to fine tune her skills and an artist herself.
