Adrienne Azhderian-Kelly was born is Washington, DC and began making photographs of the southern landscape in 1982. Since then, she has been passionately involved in the arts and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va. and her Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked as a commercial freelance photographer and operated her own photography studio. Adrienne began teaching in 1996 at Virginia Commonwealth University and in 1998 she was selected to implement the darkroom and photography classes at University of Richmond where she served as an Adjunct Professor for 16 years.
