Jane Bowling-Wilson received her BA in Fine Art from the University of Mary Washington and studied graphics at the Corcoran School of Art. She began her art teaching career in Warren County and taught art, photography and English at Warren County High School, Front Royal, VA, and then elementary art in King George County. She was Creative Director for Faith Mountain Company, a national catalog company and retail store, directing catalog design, photography, advertising and branding. She was Creative Director/Art Director for numerous national catalogs where she directed all photography and designed and executed PR and branding graphics for print, web and retail. Most recently she was Art Director/Consultant for HearthSong with The Children’s Group, Madison, VA. Bowling-Wilson is currently Executive Director of the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation, where she works to build philanthropic capital to enhance and preserve the quality of life in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Rappahannock Counties and to strengthen the region’s nonprofit organizations. She lives in Sperryville, VA, with her artist husband Patton Wilson.
