In this lecture we will begin by discussing the roots of Western Art. You will discover that this style had roots in the Eastern United States and combined elements of European art. We will discuss many Western artists and view their work. We will talk about the aesthetic aspects, the compositional aspects, the drawing, the subjects and the color schemes of their work. You will discover what characteristics make an artist, a western artist.
